These are the slices from the ends of the slab. We fondly call them ugly bacon. They are not as lean as the center slice bacon but the flavor is the same. They are excellent for any meal where flavor is more important than eye appeal. They are wonderful for BLT's and omelets. The flavor of bacon shipped is determined by availability and may be hickory, pepper or cinnamon-sugar end slices. This is a very economical way to enhance the flavor of your meals.
